Actually, I got a pretty decent response from the requester -

Hi Ashley,
I just talked with my mentor, she said I was too tough. I should accept your hits (only those who did lots of bad work I should reject). Since the data annotation is still in progress, I will reverse my rejection tomorrow (it seems that completion time is Wednesday). Sorry about that.

Oh, lovely. Pretty sure I did a handful of these during slow spells...

I would definitely email them about it if you get rejections! The response I got back was fairly quick. I'll update my TO once they deliver on the reversal.
