I'm 6'4" my wife is 5'1"... but I've definitely shot down a several sub-5'0" girls in college. I got tired of this one Korean girl I was dating literally having to jog just to keep up with me as I walked to class at my normal pace.

Height is extremely weird for a lot of people because of societal expectations and stereotypes. I think I would try to be willing to date short guys, if only because I'm 5'9 and heard from quite a few insecure men that they would never date a woman as tall as me. It would be said randomly, to my face when I wasn't even interested and it hadn't been a topic of conversation. It's an extremely shitty feeling to be singled out and told why you aren't worthy. (And this was not my overriding experience, I'm just saying that regardless, it's a really crappy feeling to be called out for something you can't control).
