2) Off topic question, anyone on a diet? I need to lose some fat. My weight training is on point, i'm getting stronger and building some muscle and I know a lot about nutrition/exercise etc. but... I can't effing stay within my calories to lose the fat. Any magical tips to staying motivated and staying on track with my calories/macros??? I know WHAT to do, I just can't do it...
I use the plate method. 1/2 the plate with greens or non startchy veggies, 1/4 starch and 1/4 protien. Make sure your plate is a standard dinner plate and put normal portios. I also allow myself snacks and I do have a sweet just about every day. This is what works for me.

I don't like diets because I want what I want when I want it. I don't like feeling restricted or deprived.

I was totally going to chime in on 2 but then saw you are a male. So, I got nothing. As a chick, when I weight train I can't eat enough. Which piles on the pounds.

I will say I think it's all about what you eat. Protein. Eat it. Avoid processed foods. Avoid sugar. Eat raw foods. That should help (it helps me and women can't lose weight for shit compare to men.)

Trust me, I know what I SHOULD be eating... the problem is sticking to that food when I want all the crap in large quantities haha
