I've played a lot of games and I'll probably play a lot more in the future. I began gaming about 9 years ago, when I was 10. My first PC was kinda crap, but I got to play Mortal Kombat 4, Quake 2 and the first Half-Life. Back in the day I really liked them. Oh and also Re-Volt, that was nice too. I don't remember much of the order I played my games in but here are a few lists.
My favorite oldies:
Age of Empires 2 / Age of Mythology, Hercules, Quake 2, GTA Vice City, Rise of Nations, NFS Most Wanted, MK4, Quake 2 and Warcraft 3. There's my childhood.
My favorite single player RPGS:
The Witcher franchise - one of the best games ever made imo. I can't really explain how much I idolize it.
The Mass Effect franchise. - I'm a sucker for space fantasy stuff and I like the AI implications of the main plot.
The Dragon Age franchise - gotta love the humor in the first two games and the gameplay in the third.
Deus Ex. All of it. It kinda goes hand in hand with my passion for transhumanism.
Bethesda's Fallout 3/4 and Skyrim, though only modding gives those game more than 100 play-hours imo.
Other singple players I consider nice & worth mentioning:
Minecraft, GTA SA/VC/4/5, Dishonored, Hitman BM/Absolution/2016, MK9, MGS V, and there's also Postal 2 if I take into consideration my guilty pleasure of dismembering virtual cannon fodder.
Multiplayer:
World of Warcraft - oh....the time I've spent playing (and I still play when nostalgia kicks in, on warmane's Icecrown @ alliance). Around 9 years of wow, but "only" around 6 years of active playing
League of Rage... (LoL) - it was kinda nice before it began throwing patches and updates out so damn frequently that I gave up on it. (I was and am a filthy casual that can't be bothered to learn new mechanics every month). I named it league of rage because the community always drove me mad

World of Tanks - I've been playing it since mid 2015 and am still playing on the Eastern European server, currently at tier 8.
Indies:
Prison Architect, Tormentum - Dark Sorrow, Ori and the Blind Forest.

Looking up at my post and all those games...geezus, maybe I've spent a bit too much time in front of my PC.
