Video in video?

You know when you're watching a video and somebody has a video going of them with their screencast going on the main screen? Can anyone tell me how they do that? When I search for it the results are really bad so I'm having trouble. Like this guy here he's in front talking but behind him you see his computer screen. TIA!

I know nothing about this stuff, but does this help?

yeah that video above pretty much explains it. you need software that can record your webcam and desktop, obs (the one in the video) and xsplit are the most popular
