Some new changes to the mturk.com website

At some point soon, (possibly) before the worker switchover on the 15th, there will be a new homepage at www.mturk.com. Right now, it looks like this:

It's getting a facelift and different design. It'll look all new and shiny. Instead of the tabs at the top like it has now, it'll just be an informational page about MTurk in general, with links to login or sign up as a requester or a worker.

If anyone has mturk.com bookmarked as the thing they click to get to the page to do HITs, after this new page is implemented, clicking that bookmarked link will bring you to the shiny new informational page rather than the HITs page.

Let me know if you have questions about this and I can either answer or see if I can get clarification if I don't know the answer.

Here's another way you can think about this change: There will now be THREE MTurk websites:

1. www.mturk.com - An informational page about MTurk in general
2. requester.mturk.com - The website requesters go to to post and manage HITs
3. worker.mturk.com - The website workers go to to do HITs

(For #3, https://www.mturk.com/mturk/findhits is the old design for doing HITs until December 15, after which time only worker.mturk.com will be available.)
