This HIT is posted every 15 minutes. You can do it once month. If you aren't sure when you can do it again, just accept the HIT and it'll show you the date when you can do it next.

The results are fed into this: MTurk Demographics Tracker. Click the text on the left to see graphed results for each of the answers in the survey.

The other part of that website is pretty cool: MTurk Tracker. You can view top requesters based on the dollar amount or number of HITs they've posted between two dates. You can search by requester's name to see when they last posted. It'll show the titles of HITs a requester has posted and the pay over time, so you can see if they've raised or dropped pay. There are several other ways to sort and view the data there.

This requester also maintains a blog and writes frequently about Mechanical Turk and the tracker sites: http://www.behind-the-enemy-lines.com/

Excellent and useful explanation of these HITs, I visit his Tracker from time to time just 'cause it's so interesting. Kudos to you, electrolyte @electrolyte

New information!

We present an analysis of the population dynamics and demographics of Amazon Mechanical Turk workers based on the results of the survey that we conducted over a period of 28 months, with more than 85K responses from 40K unique participants. The demographics survey is ongoing (as of November 2017) and the results are available at http://demographics.mturk-tracker.com: we provide an API for researchers to download the survey data... Our results indicate that there are more than 100K workers available in Amazon’s crowdsourcing platform, the participation of the workers in the platform follows a heavy-tailed distribution, and at any given time there are more than 2K active workers. We also show that the half-life of a worker on the platform is around 12-18 months and that the rate of arrival of new workers balances the rate of departures, keeping the overall worker population relatively stable.
