Newbie in need of guidance..rejection sucks

Hello All,

I have been lurking this platform for about a week , after stumbling across it (best thing ever )!!! So I've been turking for close to a month now with no clear direction except YouTube and trying to learn what I can these past few days while on the forum. I had one reject in my first 10 days and worked my booty off to get my percentage back in the upper 99% only to wake this morning with 11 rejects they were all from the same requester with the same message. Luckily I only did 11 of these jobs that day.

Is there any tips u on getting my percentage back up quickly? How bad does that many rejects at one time hurt overall? Anything you recommend?

I just installed MTurk Suite so hopefully I can learn how to use that quickly.

Hi. I'm the forum's welcome pig. So... Welcome.

I'd say keep tabs on the daily thread. You can pick up some good tips there, and see which batches are worth doing.

There are some relatively safe numbers hits for new turkers. Amazon A9 comes to mind.

Also, you can use the @Mentor tag when you have a question. That'll make sure that it doesn't get lost among the other posts in the daily work thread.

also make sure you read Turk Opticon. Really bad requesters will be reviewed and you'll know to stay away.
