Hi everyone!

I started Turking a few days ago, and haven't made much money yet(aha). Mostly because of lack of HITs. I was googling around for any reason why there weren't many HITS on CrowdSurf as I thought there would be. I found out it's not usually like that, and then I found this forum! I hope you guys don't mind taking in a clueless newbie.

I also got my account activated earlier today on Amazon Mechanical Turk, but I haven't even started to look at how that site works yet.

Anyway hi, hello there, here I am. If anyone has some tips for me, it would sure help!

Welcome! We have nothing against newbies at all, we have a friendly environment here (we hope).

@jklmnop wrote an awesome guide for getting started with mturk. It's a lot to take in and mturk is a little daunting at first but once you get the hang of it it's a pretty good way to make money online.
