New to turking and these forums. Have always done survey and referral sites and was always a little weary of the crowdsourcing sites but figured I would give it a go, and so far its been good. Hope to have a bright future with you all!

You'll probably find more legitimacy on Mturk than you would most survey sites. At least they're dealing with real money on Mturk.
Welcome! Make sure to read up on the basics. They'll come in handy down the road and, since it's slow, now would be the time to do it.
