I have a high return rate since I can not tell if I am really interested in a HIT until I see the details. It seems it would be better to return it rather than giving answers that would be of no help. What is your opinion?

A high return rate shouldn't really affect you, so it's always worth returning if you're unsure about something. My return and abandon rates are both pretty high and I think I've only been locked out of maybe 3-4 HITs due to that in the ~8 years that I've been turking.
