i'm just hoping choice lab drops monster bonuses for "production task" on christmas eve or morning as a nice Oprah or Ellen moment.

Good Grief it looks as though my can opener has died. I opened a can of coffee this morning by going around the can and physically squeezing and then moving it to the next uncut part and squeezing. When it's not on a can the wheels turn well so I don't know what's wrong with it.

i wonder if clamping on the can lid disengages the gears because there is enough slop under pressure between the piece you twist and the cutter blade.

i wonder if clamping on the can lid disengages the gears because there is enough slop under pressure between the piece you twist and the cutter blade.

I'm not certain I know what you mean but I just ran a folded up (4 layers) of grocery receipt through it and it advanced that. Maybe it's the particular can - Caffe Du Monde.

[edit] Fixed! Watched a couple YouTubes and tried the easiest things first - lubrication and tightening the screw and voila . . .
