Are you in a folder tab? They are right under the pause, start group, stop all, add job taskbar.
I think it automatically sticks new jobs added under the main tab and you would have to manually move it to a different folder. If you are already in a different folder, you might not see jobs added because they are sitting in the main tab.

I got an "alert" for a Chrome .exe file yesterday and declined to install it. Hmmmm. Something about a file to correct previous errors in Chrome.
