I wasn't able to complete the hit because there was no code at the end of the survey, so was trying to contact them because of that.

Since I couldn't complete the hit, they don't show up in the hit status area. there used to be a "contact this requester" button available in the hits you are working on section. is it gone completely gone now?

If you click on the requester name on the top left when working on a hit, you can then click contact.

No, I don't think it is. The old watchers I have for specific hits are working and catching. How to set a watcher for a specific hit now, I don't know.
