no joke. it started storming around 5:45 this morning in Ft Worth and rain has been non stop. cold front moving in and thank god it won't get cold enough to ice. this amount of rain turned to ice would shut down north central texas.

I would be out running or biking in these temps if not for the rain - too dangerous - but most Texans would be looking at me like I was nuts. I love the cold and hate the hot summers. We'll be near freezing temps by midnight.

very true. we do well with snow when it's just snow but north texas especially can turn into a hockey rink some winters and we get a lot of black ice especially on bridges and our freeways have a large number of flyovers and bridges so yeah we definitely shut down in that kind of weather.
