Hey folks, hope everyone is doing well. I ended up emailing a requester who gave me a rejection the other day and got this email back last night. When I checked my dashboard, though, the rejection had already been removed. Do you all think I should respond? I don't think I remember any details of that particular HIT to be honest so I don't know how to verify myself...
I am sorry that you did not get compensated for your work.
The reason I rejected your work is that the payment code you provided through MTurk does not match the data I have collected in the survey - in other words, I cannot locate your answers in my dataset.
Could you please recall any relevant details of this study (e.g., the task you were asked to do, the color of the ball you have drawn, and etc.)?
If you can recall something that verifies your participation in this study, I am happy to revoke the rejection.
Thanks.
Best,
Shuqi
