My cat sleeps on the vent (absorbing the heat) near my computer, and my speaker is right on top of the computer, so when PC does the "AH!" thing when I'm logged out or get a captcha, she freaks out on occasion and just sprints out of my room.

My cats don't care at all about the noises from my computer. The dogs act like the world is ending.
