It's the prepared meal part that just drives me nuts. I want to cook from scratch

the more I learn about you, the more you seem like my mom. While not a veggie, she loved to cook. I think Thanksgiving must have been her favorite day because she got to cook a lot of yummies for the family.

I imagine it was her worst day too as she died on Thanksgiving 2000 after eating a meal while dad and her were out of town visiting my grandma. 19 years ago to this date, in fact. Dad and I share Thanksgiving cooking nowdays while my sister is still too messed up mentally to really want to participate on the holiday and refuses mental health treatment to try to work past it, even almost 2 decades later.

we want snow before boyfriend leaves for a while. so by feb. last year we got zero snow.

nope. I"m a freak there too - I never eat dressing, stuffing or gravy.

Add that to I don't do guac or boring tamales even though I love mexican food , don't do coffee or variants (only diet dew or diet DP or coke zero for my caffeine fix), and I am the only left handed person in my immediate family of four and probably even among my aunts/uncles/cousins/grandparents if you extend the definition of "family".

if climate change causes this year's weather pattern to be the same as last year, you may have to come on a vacay here or in Colorado to play in the snow before he goes bye-bye for awhile.
