I wasn't going to even bother, but I emailed Richard and got a response.

Hi Sean,

Yeah, we had some issues with scaling up. It seemed like we'd worked
out a pretty good system during early testing, but when we scaled up
the number of HITs our internal reviewers got overwhelmed and the
consistency of their work dropped off. After hearing from a few other
AMT workers we're going to try switching over to a qualification-based
system, so instead of rejecting HITs we'll just be disqualifying
consistently poor performers.

I'll look at your HITs later this morning and double check any
rejected ones. Please let anyone else know that we're up for that.

I just don't feel like I know what to do at all....I don't have any biological children and by the time I met my step kids they were all older. I don't like to change diapers...shit and puke makes me wanna gag and vomit myself..It just makes me feel uncomfortable and stupid, I know that's not normal it's just an odd feeling like a feeling of dread and stress.

Like I'm just going to fuck this all up cause I have no idea what I'm doing.

That is the same feeling I had as a new parent. I'd say it's totally normal. The fact that you're talking about it here shows you care, and that makes you a good grandparent.

We are helping out with my newborn baby nieces right now, and my husband feels like you do. Like he'll puke if he does diapers, totally afraid he's going to hurt them. I was weird at first but got over it and am holding them and feeding them and all kinds of stuff (not diapers yet, but their sister is doing diapers) I think its totally normal. These aren't my first baby nieces and I still felt weird about it at first, they're tiny little wonder factories of poop and wiggles!
