I found dead ones in my bathtub at my old place quite often. No idea where the hell they came from or how/why they were in the bathtub of all places, but I'm glad they were already dead regardless.

Was going to have someone look over the place to see where they were coming from/stop it, but the cost of it was a bit too high given I was getting out of there.

semi-related but not really: my younger rat can still squeeze his fat ass through the bars of his cage so he's basically a free-range rat for now. he and my dog play tag, and he chills out between her front paws. he's apparently too good to go back in the cage on his own, so sits and stares at me until I open the cage door
