Congrats to the Washington Nationals, 2019 MLB World Champions. What a wacky season of getting rid of Bryce Harper and won their first franchise championship in a World Series that went the full 7 games with the home team never winning a game.

Congrats to the Houston Astros also for winning the AL Championship and making it a full World Series when it looked like they would be quickly gone after dropping the first two games.

Our backyard stray cat is using her cold weather "home" (old cat carrier) now and I am sooo happy. She wouldn't touch it with just wool batting in it but climbed happily in once I put newspaper on top. She's gonna be so cozy and the special World Series section was worth something tonight
