From what I have been reading on Monday Prolific did a blanket IP "ban" on many areas of California due to "bots". The specific error message you get when you try to launch a survey is:

PEC-SUB-0002: We are sorry but we could not create your submission at this time. This may be due to your current network connection. Please ensure you are on safe internet connection.

People have complained it seems and are being told "they will look at it when they redo looking at ISPs and IPs again."

I currently have (15) showing as available (many of which are longitudinal and when they expire I will of course lose out on that money as well as the various bonus when you fully complete the study.

My question is do you think it would help to contact a few of the requestors and tell them the reason I and many people are not able to continue their study is on Prolific?

Makes sense to do. Maybe the requesters will talk to their Prolific reps and get the issue solved quicker since it is hindering many of their subjects from being able to do long term studies.

OTOH, my chance of winning a study bonus lottery increases as long as the IP ban lasts.
