I don't mind this work, but I don't like being reminded about potential rejects a lot. I try my best and think I do well, but it worries me that it is too subjective and I'll get stung.

I probably thought you were talking about a different hit. I was thinking of the "gentle reminders" in the noah hits. I normally don't do them but I made a grip yesterday, but like every 3rd hit has a pop up with this stuff. I thought I was doing something wrong at first.
