Wow, you could be my mother...well maybe not....but she used to put Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture--complete with muskets, canons and bells-- on the stereo and go stand in the middle of the street in front of the house to listen to it. Said it needed to be loud to get the full benefit. The neighbors were benefited, too.

I want us to have a secret Santa thing this year. We didn't have one last year and I was a sad turtle, because I think it is a fun little event to have. Who thinks they might be interested in this? We would use Elfster as we have in the past and I could resurrect the dusty secret santa thread if I can find it. I have had a few interested rumblings in Discord already, so yay!

I got thrown in the back of a cop car for playing Rush's "Caress of Steel" too loud one Friday afternoon 15 years ago.

Remember sitting in the back of the car thinking "Fuck I'm going to miss prom because of me being an asshole"
Still an asshole though...so it didn't really change anything.

Those SLS-6 hits make nice fillers, last few days I did 120 in between hits. Only 20 cents a pop, they take about two minutes and are easy (as long as their AI responds fast enough server side)
