Another Monday I get off, but I know they're slow. I'm stuck at home dog sitting until lunch. Old man Sam, the old dog my dog cut up Wednesday, has had to go to the vet two more times since then because the emergency vet did such a botched job. So last night he was at the vet getting cleaned up and stitched (the ER vet put staples in his ear which was the stupidest thing ever.)

There are more than 100,000 fewer HITs available, compared to Friday. That's means, people are doing HITs but, new HITs aren't being posted. Happens every weekend. They get slower, and slower, until Monday comes, and it starts getting busy again.

Scraping more pages usually won't find you more HITs because it's just more pages, with HITs that get consecutively older and older. Seems like a normal Sunday to me.

I know this. I've been turking for the better part of a decade. This was a *far* lower than normal amount, even for weekends.

Nah, you just value your worth. A minute for anything less than .20 is something we shouldn't even be looking at. Base pay for anything should be minimum .20. Everyone started mentioning .10/minute to everyone detriment a few years ago, not realizing that that equals $6/hr. Even for the least type of work, we should at least expect minimum wage, and most of this (including surveys) is asking for unique information that each person provides, which is *far* above the wage I'd expect for basic labor. Even $12/hr isn't much at all, but everyone's so used to paying less (and they'll take whatever advantage that they can get) that we need to start pushing back on that kind of nonsense.

yeah, i know. that's why i threw it back. i don't do underpaid shit.
i don't mind 10 cent ones if they are literally 1 or 2 pages of a couple easy questions. but when its ONE question per page? nah.

This is especially true considering we pay taxes on this income. So 6/hr is really more like 4/hr
