I get it. I've been off work for 4 weeks and done the bare minimum of cleaning and cooking. In all fairness, I have spent a ton of time trying to earn money turking. And other time with strike duty and dealing with my mother. But today I intend to clean, dammit!
Turking and cleaning are contradictory activities. (Delayed answer; been turking.)

Hey, we have a lot of people from India that frequent this forum. i would rather we not be making jokes about them, please. They're just trying to make a living like any of us.

I ... despise those people. :)
I dislike that they are clearly trying to figure out how to use poorly paid crowdsourcers, using wholly online sources, to do Predictive Analysis. The crowd instead of the best minds. And since crowd work is, in essence, a majority rules based standard.....well we all know how far the majority can be trusted. All with the ultimate objective of cutting out the use of humans at all in the process........Analytical prediction work is highly sought after and is well paid....except here, that is.

Interesting poll. I do honestly enjoy a lot of the batch work. Surveys are repetitive and boring af so that gets draining.
Every great once in a very long while a HIT will make me feel like I am doing important work. Like the "Black Hole" HIT a couple of years ago that I worked on and thus helped astronomers take the first (what they call) "image" of a black hole! THAT was nifty!!

What with what you just said ... I know a book you might like a lot, if I can recall it's name, that is.
