when they dropped 30k+ CIs last night I seriously thought some would still be up.... they were throttlling terrible when I fell asleep, I could panda more than a couple every five to ten minutes.

So...I have 2 options for replacing my GTX 760 that died.

GTX 1050ti -155$ USD(new)
GTX 980 - 240USD (used)

The 1050 ti pulls about 75 fps on Very high settings 1080p in most games while the 980 pulls about 88 fps in the same setting.

In theory I can afford a 1070 if I manage to sell off most of my old pc parts, but that could take over a month and the current 550 ti Is painful to use.

I have the 1050TI and it is good but for future proofing the 1060 is MUCH better.
