so happy you like my idea! I just finished putting clear packing tape on a vertical blind. it had fallen down. the top was ripped so it couldn't stay up. I put about 5 layers of clear tape over the very top where it was ripped. I didn't cover the hole that the blind is supposed to be held up by. it worked
