I spent the afternoon turning my Honda CRV into a mini C-RV. My son loves car rides so I am gonna pick up my son from school Friday and drive 4 hours to the Cedar Island ferry landing and park in the loading lane and sleep in the back. Then the next day take the 2 1/4 hour ferry over to Ocracoke Island and then just tool up the outer banks just doing whatever we want to do. Then Saturday night find some place to stealth park/camp in the car in Manteo or nags head. Then Sunday drive home through all the national forest and game lands in the northeastern part of the state.
