Anyone have anything good to say about Lenovo laptops ? So far this year i've spent $1K on chromebooks and they were both junk (HP) . Looking to get a full windows Lenovo laptop (mid tier). TIA

It was actually all of my scripts that quit working. Deleting my history magically fixed that. Thanks for the advice though.

I own a Lenovo Chromebook Essential 500E. I bought it on September 2019. It's one of those hybrid yoga laptop, it can be used as an Android tablet or as a Chromebook. It is also Linux ready, if that is your thing. I am not a Google enthusiastic but the device I picked has some great features, the battery is long lasting, the stylus pen makes everything easier along with the touch screen, it is not heavy to carry in my bag, I never had to reach out for support and I can do almost anything with it.

Oh my goodness, yes! My son got me into Lenovo Think Pads. You can get really cheap, really good used ones on Ebay. The last two I've had have been great and have had no issues and were only around $200 total. My son is graduating with his degree in Computer Science in the next few months and has always been unusually and weirdly good at this stuff, so he usually has good ideas about computer issues.

I have one. It was inexpensive and super slow (so I can't say a thing about the better ones). But I got it at least five years ago - maybe 6 now - and it still turns on and works. I use it at night - if I'm watching something or reading.

So, for longevity - it's been good
