WOW, I think my longest without power from a hurricane was 6 days. A CAT 5 is gonna rip stuff up wherever it hits.

You'd think that with that length of time, it would mean that I'm in a rural area. Nope. I was living 12 miles from the center of the most populated city in Maine. It just happened so bad that they didn't have enough crews to repair all the damage at once. Hurricane Gloria. Late 80's. I think it was only a CAT 3 but it was a winter hurricane

I actually woke up in a good (and "positive") mood, so we'll see what the day brings. Thanks, @coffeeowl !

I'm glad. I woke up, if you can call it that if you don't actually sleep, in an okay mood. I had a mid-grade migraine for most of the day yesterday. Couldn't shake it until about 7am.
