Hrm ok, I mean she seems fine and she's seen a lot of therapists over the years. She's very obsessed with staring at the phone and kinda loses track of time.

being preoccupied with her phone can be a symptom of depression. When I go through a bout I find myself dickering with my phone a lot to distract myself or just connect with others and not feel isolated.

I'm not saying she IS depressed because, well, I'm not a trained mental health expert. I would say just be there for her and look out for signs of reaching out or displaying signs of depression through art (or lack thereof if normally artistic.) Slightly abnormal behavior can actually mean something big.

Having two teenagers myself, and seeing them around all of their friends, I wouldn't be worried about her staring at her phone. That is literally every single teenager in existence right now. They live on social media. And sleep alot. And refuse to do chores, and slam their doors, and say they hate you, etc etc etc etc. I wouldn't worry too much about it. It really sounds like you hold a lot of resentment towards your kids though and they may pick up on that, which won't help with the daddy issues. Just a tip

Oh I'm really not trying to come off that way because that isn't really how I feel, sometimes I feel frustrated because I struggle with anything where I feel like I don't have an answer. That's my biggest struggle I am a problem/solution person and when it isn't that simple I tend to get annoyed. If it's coming across as resentment that isn't actually how I feel. I just sometimes feel like I have no answer and that is where I have my issues.
