Did you use margarine?
Butter?
Try chilling the dough next time. The dough was too warm. (Could be b/c it's summer- def chill all cookie doughs in summer. )

Everyone (that I like) can come have some.

My issue was that I put too many cookies on the try so they weren't spaced out enough and just turned into a giant cookie cake which we're going to pretend was on purpose.
