So earlier I was wondering about the boundary box hits people were talking about. Someone mentioned them being A9s, and I was like, weren't A9s hits that always dropped in huge batches? Why can't I see any? Then I started thinking about how it seemed like there were just fewer hits in general. Even the crappy penny transcription hits that I used to use to deal with captchas were gone. No big batches of garbage in sight.

WELL it turns out that the new mturk site has a filter option that was automatically limiting me to just seeing hits paying 20 cents and up. Cleared it and now I can see all the junk again. And the A9s too. Mystery solved, except I feel even dumber now.

You running a script looking for HITs .20 and above?
Because that's what's doing it.

Of course using a script to find HITs is more effective so you kinda just have to deal with it and adjust when you want to look at the marketplace itself.
