What's the cheapest way to buy a new monitor? Is that something you can get used from like a pawn shop, or should I buy new? My second monitor is starting to go out and I honestly CANNOT be without a second monitor!! I have no clue how old my current one is. My brother gave it to me 3 years ago. Today it took almost an hour to come on :banghead: When I turned my computer on the power light on the monitor kept flashing different colors at me for about an hour and then it finally started working. What do y'all suggest... I'm beyond broke at the moment and already have a $700 turk goal this week :arghh:
Pawn shops, flea markets, and thirft stores all work. But in my experience, you have to be lucky to find the right monitor for you.

You broke the $10 barrier. I think that earns a nap
At this point it's more about whether I'll actually be able to sleep. My body is like "nawh, you're not tired yet" but my brain is in the eye twitchy I haven't slept in almost 48 hours stage lol

I've never had any luck with warranties on electronics. In my experience they always figure out a way to wiggle out of honoring it. I would love to buy new but right now I just can't afford it. I need something that will last me at the very least a month or two until I can scrape together the money to get the shiny new one I've had my eye on.
yea they are really picky about what they will cover but i feel a little bit better knowing atleast there is hope whatever may happen to something is covered.

i actually just had an issue with a brand new laptop that lenovo would not cover, luckley i fixed it myself but still i was pissed

Then you should be proud! You did damn well this week.
thanks, but only worked 50 hours last week, the 60 hours will start in two weeks. Guess Wal Mart starts you off slow, first week 10 hours, second week 12 hours, third week 13 hours, then 4th week 20 hours. Let's see if it keeps it to 20 hours, cause I really need the extra money. KInd of feel behind a bit on bills.
