90% of my work is done on a Pixel 3 XL, or tablet.

I'd make more if I used a computer, obviously, but I do fine this way, averaging between $300-800 per week from all sources (note that I usually only make 200-300/wk on mturk, and I work from 3 sources) , and I still don't have masters.

Quals are everything.

But I'm also going to add that I haven't been able to access some new qualed batches recently due to them not submitting on mobile anymore.

I still don't know how you do it. I feel inadequate with my phone lol

Where is the "numbers hits" thread that the Your First 1000 HITS post talks about?

Any advice on what to do today for a total newb? I'm afraid of doing something wrong and messing everything up.

I know javascript, if that makes a difference.

Thanks. I thought I would start with quals. But I'm confused. If I try to get a qual, is it possible to get rejected for that HIT just from pressing "request qualification". Like can I mess up my HIT count just by requesting qualification? Or does not getting qualified have nothing to do with HIT rejections.

Requesting a qual won't get you a rejection. https://turkerview.com/qualifeye/ is useful for keeping an eye on currently posted quals.

Oh, I had no idea. Thank you. I guess I should add that if it's not already obvious to everyone, that picture was taken many years ago, before he went closed qual. I don't believe there were any such warnings on those HITs back then.

Yea I don't think anyone will make that mistake though because it gives a big warning bar if you try to do it

Mostly doing only batches I can do fast enough on my phone to be worth the hourly, which means I almost never do writing hits anymore, and my 5s qual is almost useless with the lag

I wouldn't think so; I've never known it to happen.

I'll request quals all the time. On occasion,a requester comes through.

i would say my turk usage is:

70% desktop
30% phone
