Technically, their servers work fine. Like @Kerek said, they just have their own version of throttling. They only allow x amount of HITs to be submitted at any given time, I think. So adding more workers just meant that we would have to wait longer for HITs to submit.

Well I guess that's one way to do it. Just sort of sucks for those effected, perhaps one day I'll have the qual and be able to complain about it.
