When you are working on a survey that is going on longer than you expected and sunk cost thoughts start kicking in :headwall:
Sunk cost fallacy doesn't really apply to something like taking a survey, because the time that you've invested still retains whatever value it has even if the hourly of the survey isn't what you had hoped for, and the hourly of what remains of the survey is always greater than the hourly of the full survey.

My guess is that if you had a big database of surveys that took longer than estimated/advertised, the graph of completion times would look similar a graph of arrival times of people showing up late for work. The odds go up with every passing unit of time up until a certain point where it starts to move in the other direction. It's not possible to know what that point is without using past results, but it's very unlikely to be very close to the "on time" point, meaning that you're probably better off sticking out those surveys for a while after they've disappointed, other than if you want to quit to punish the requester for paying poorly.

So, just got off the phone with Pampers. I'll say if you're not a parent of a child in diapers, you probably won't care-

Anyway, I ordered a new box of their Pampers 360 off of Amazon- one of the huge $49 boxes. Had a $4 off coupon so I figured I'd try them as they had mostly positive reviews. They were terrible- the sides were soft, but they were more like pull-up style, hard to clean the poop off his bum, impossible to put on with diaper rash cream without making a mess, and we had a few leaks, which never happens to us.

All that being said, I decided to call them. I wished the other diapers they make had the soft sides but that alone wasn't worth it. The lady took some info off of one of the diapers and they are sending me a $50 Visa gift card. o.0 She said I can use it to buy more of the diapers I usually get (the Cruisers), or buy something else. I thought that was pretty awesome because a lot of companies send you vouchers for their products if anything.

I did this for my grandson and got a $50 card in about a week after I talked to them.

I bought one of those light up cat tunnels once and it didn't work like it was supposed to. So I wrote the company and told them and the lady sent me a check I could spend on anything. I spent it on another tunnel since the two could work together and the cat didn't care really if it didn't light up. I took a pic of it and sent it to her so she would know that I purchased the same with it. Not the same of course as pampers but some people do try out there.
