I'd say its less about working in hazardous conditions and more about being something society needs that is underappreciated. I mean, customer service employees that work from home aren't in a dangerous position.we don't work in hazardous conditions, though, and amazon has no say in how much the hits pay, anyway.
and as for the pay, Amazon posts lots of hits on mturk and the pay is disgraceful.
