bookmarked this. Looking into it more - really appreciate you digging into this @charlie. From my experience off the top of my head, probably 80% don't meet the suggested pay, and probably a good 20-30% fell below, sometimes well below the minimum. Would explain some of the fudging on time estimates to get their pay in line, but how does Prolific let surveys through that have a 2.64/hour payrate thru? You'd think it'd be be pretty easy to block that with software.
