1. I love these hits, for easy mental HITs, just look at a pic and click an obvious observation. They are at least 1.5 minutes long, usually 3 up to 4, depending on task. ~$5/hour for me.

2. These HITs have hard crashed my computer, twice, this past week. I have an older, upgraded computer, but... I close up other tasks now, when I do these. Lots of video ads to review, with these HITs.

3. Sometimes, when you get 2 or more in your queue, they block you for the batch, ask you to return HIT, come back in 1 hour. I've adjusted panda to only take 1 at a time now, but it's an error on their server, that tells you to come back in an hour, yet when you do, you're still out that batch. I cursed loudly today when this happened. You'll be able to take the next batch though.

I LOVE Adsdforces, but I never had that crashing issue. That's a bit odd.

It is kind of a historical irony that the value of (most) degrees has dropped commensurately with the increase in their cost.

I have lots of feels about this exact thing. I won't muddy up the thread with political talk, but yeah, lots of feels...

No insult intended to anyone who came out of college saddled with crippling debt and anxiety, because those are real problems, but you *should* be coming out of college a badass. Otherwise, what is it for?

College turned me into an anxiety and debt-ridden husk of a human being. I had a beyond awful and abusive student teaching experience that forever changed the course of my life. In my case, it wasn't resiliance training; it was straight up abuse (not going to get into specifics, but yeah, it was bad news), and due to circumstances at the time I really had no recourse. I made it out alive with my degree, but by that point the degree was 100 percent useless.

I know I'm not alone or the only one with this particular set of circumstances; all my thoughts and support to those dealing with similar issues. :heart:

Again not to drag things off too far, but the system as it stands is pretty much *acting as if it was designed to do that*, though I think most of that is accidental and not deliberate.

It's fragility training. That needs to stop because it's bad for everyone, but because it's (mostly) not deliberate it's really hard to stop. I don't have an answer per se but just knowing that it's happening will help, and I think more people are becoming aware of that. I have hope.

Been visiting my 90 year old grandmother (the other one is almost 97) today. I thought about you @Despairagus because she lives in assisted living up in Ft. Wayne. Saw the sign on the interstate for Decatur and remembered the Manley Meat place you told me about, but we didn't visit it today.

That's so wild! It's crazy that we've probably been in the same places, driven the same roads etc. Such a small world!
