has anyone ever done a study (from any platform) that right when you click on the link of the study it starts auto advancing itself?

For instance i was reading the instructions of the hit and it decides to advance the page to a question that I have no idea what the answer would be. Then it advances to a screen saying that i solved 13 math questions correct. (which i never solved anything) and get told I'm now the leader in this group study. I sit there and wait to be connected to someone, I then click the next button and get presented with 40 math problems i must solve presented to me one at a time. If your not fast enough solving their long math problem then you get advanced to the end of the trials.

I contacted the requester and they stated that they did it like this because it is a group study and they need everyone to work at the same pace. Nothing was stated in the instructions that the study will be designed like this. or any warnings of auto advancement.

Just curious if anyone has ever ran into a study set up like this before ? First time i experienced this ridiculousness
