I have. Had no problems. Unless the can is bulging, the contents should be fine. Best buy date on canned food is basically a scam to get people to throw good food out and buy more.

I have actually asked that question before, because I found some 12 year old canned food in a abandoned shack on my property,. Except for the rusted ones , they were all good.

Looks like they took out the display of how well you agree with other people too. It still says in the instructions you must maintain 85% or better, but can't see it anymore. Weird.

I have actually asked that question before, because I found some 12 year old canned food in a abandoned shack on my property,. Except for the rusted ones , they were all good.

I have like 20 cans of tomatoes I bought a couple years ago that got pushed to the back of my closet and i just found it. 12 years is a lot longer than that though so I'm safe
