Morning all! What's making you happy today?

First day without pain meds since Thursday! (so far, anyway)

and I just decluttered/re-homed a bunch of toys and junk and the living room looks way better

Got a potential anxiety-inducing situation coming up so I might do a lot more cleaning today since I can't do anything about the situation but I can make the house look good so everyone is less stressed!

going to clean out the fridge next!

I think the cause for the concern is that last part of the sentence that actually gives context to the request. If, as an example, you would have just ended after the 100-200 words part, no one would have been bothered.

Most of us have posted survey content accidentally at some point, and been chastized for it. No one is singling you out, so please don't go away.

It doesn't say the requester in it. I see people post silly questions they found in surveys which is "survey content" but people just like it and laugh about it. This is also a generic survey question that is in countless surveys.

If you see people posting questions from surveys, please click "report" on the post so a staff member can come take a look at it and remove it. We aren't always around to see this stuff, so we rely on members to report it.

Glad you're feeling more comfortable, and jealous of your anxiety coping mechanisms. Mine tend to run along the lines of "eat four bagels in a row and stare blankly at Reddit for three hours." Hope things end up going your way <3

That's the kind of statement I would expect out of a mentor. Sitting on the outside a lot I can understand a bit of Dottie's concerns. But you've got to learn the system. Perhaps it's more in the diplomacy that it is taught in.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I try my best and I think I usually moderate comments the same way for everyone. But, like all of the mods and admins here, I'm just a person. I have a daughter, a dog, and a cat. I also have to get out to start shoveling that snow (we're getting about 12 inches). You are welcome to pm an admin for clarification of the rules, though we have them posted as well in the TOS.
