It's even weirder when you know a requester IRL who has a horrible TO...

There's a Prof in CS @ UCSD who I know personally because he lives a few blocks away from me and our kids used to be semi-frequent playmates... He posted a batch HITs a few years back and then rejected a ton of properly completed HITs because "Accidentally posted up more HITs than I can fund, sorry."

He was a bit of an oddball, so I wasn't too surprised.

That is really weird haha one of my old TA's from UCSD is a frequent HIT poster as well and his TO is bad. I don't even accept his HITs.

Odd, had a HIT tell me it cannot verify I am in the US. That they would manually decide it and I need to contact the requester. umm..."return". I am not using a VPN or anything and not going to risk a rejection after I spend time working on something when I know that rejection is a possibility right at the start. I have done surveys for them before without issues too. Strange.

Same thing happened to me. Tried to "click continue" 3 times and then said I would have to email the requester. Too much work for 0.50.

Same thing happened to me. Tried to "click continue" 3 times and then said I would have to email the requester. Too much work for 0.50.

Mine was for the Minju Han - Solve as many questions as you can in 2 min. 30 cents plus potential bonuses.

It did the same thing to me a matter of minutes ago. I took a chance anyway because I've done stuff for this requester before with no problem. Did the HIT and got a $.56 bonus. Went to contact the requester just in case and it was already approved. It approved almost immediately.

About 60 degrees and gorgeous here today. Amazing after -12 just 4-5 days ago. Got a lot of chores done today in preparation for being an invalid for a couple of weeks. Sunshine through the windows makes doing chores so much easier.
