Wal Mart is supposed to be given $1000 bonus to their hourly employees. Of course they also say they are switching to robots so enjoy it why you can get it.
ugh... the taxes on bonuses suck
every few months I get a bonus between 200 and 800 and the taxes are almost 45% when paid as bonus.

there is a flat tax on bonuses of like 25%, and it also pushes you into a higher tax bracket, so more gets taken out overall

Good Lord. When I worked at Wal-Mart, I was making $7.25 an hour, but that was 10 years ago

in 2013 I was making $7.50, so it hasn't changed much

and that $7.25 an hour was worth more back then today`s $7.25 because of inflation. LOL.
I was reading on how some studies show that $25 an hour is what it should be now because of inflation over the years.
