I see no friends in this house right now.

But yeah, I know. I can't embarrass him. (or I totally can, if he deserves it!)

However. ask him what it's like when his friends stay over and who they want to stay up superlate with them?

one hint. She's a mom! I bring the party with me!
You have apparently done a good job with him and raised him with some morals. So he's still the child and will act like one but he wants his mom to be well - kind of virtuous. You are his mom.

I agree with you. He's being totally age appropriate. Which makes me smile!

But...I'm also a rebel...so I have to fuck with him. He's used to it by now, and I hope my antics means he grows up to be a great husband some day.

If you were to ask my kid right now what I am raising he would tell you, "she's not raising a child. She's raising a future man, husband and father."

I'm pretty sure this avatar is making me even less mature.
I would try this but then I'll just make excuses that it makes me feel too old to work.

Semi-grownup-ish Leela needs to show up soon.

my dad has MRSA
it's because of people using antibiotics when they don't need them.
and also the heavy commercial use of triclosan,
which has been reduced in most places, and even banned in some states

I feel ya. I don't let them be used unless there is no other option (like the last time the kid had strep. Or the last time I I needed them 10 years ago when a random MRI found a massive infection I had no clue I had.)
