I don't have very many memories of my grandfather. I didn't know him very well. But what I do remember of him was the smell of cherry pipe tobacco... and a tiny toy poodle named boomer who would run at him full speed from anywhere at all and he would put his hand down for that little dog to launch itself up onto his arm and climb up onto his shoulder to ride around.Awwww, he's a cutie!
