I just realized I've been wearing my underwear inside out all day. Weird.

I've had some fantastic vegan food. (It looked interesting.) If one has ethical problems with food they should do whatever makes their heart happy, because in the end you're the person you have to live with.

But cheese. Can't live without it.

Cheese is delicious, eggs as well. I can live with vegan cheese, but the things that vegans do to replicate eggs is kind of against the laws of nature. Baked goods simply don't taste as scrumptious when you use flax seed as an emulsifier. It's just not the same.
I've done it, but I was never proud of those efforts.

No, that's a genuine technique. Mix some flax seeds with water and you end up with a rather slimy concoction that you can substitute for egg whites. You can't make an omelet with it, but you can use it for baked goods. It's never going to taste as good as the stuff your mamma baked, but it's passable.
