Good lord man, how did you end up there?

Lived in San Diego for 25 years. Clinical Depression set in about 2005. Lost a job, blah, blah, blah. Eventually got work at a gas station -- a job I came to hate. At this point I was semi-homeless and started getting anxiety attacks on top of the depression. My best friend told me I needed to get out of San Diego.

( I'm skipping the Black Widow Bite story )

At that point, an ex-girlfriend --- whose family kinda owns this town -- said, "Come out here; I got a place where you can live, and I'll help you find a job." That "place" turned out to be (drum roll, pls) Desert Center.

I assume you know what Seasonal Affective Disorder is. Peeps in northern climates get clinically depressed during the winter season when it is very cloudy and it rains a lot. The irony here is that three years ago I was diagnosed by the Veterans Health Admin. with SUMMER-onset Seasonal Affective Disorder: when it gets hot -- over 105 or there abouts -- with a lot of sun, my clinical depression tends to raise its ugly head.

And I didn't really mean to talk your ear off, @Pleco

Anyone here who lives in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, or New England, and you need a butler or property care-taker, I'm you man!

I use MTurk as a supplement to the income I make in the real world. So I set my standard of earning relatively low. My goal is $5 a day every day which I always meet or exceed. An average month for me on the Turk is like $200-$300 in pocket cash depending on what the batches and surveys look like.

Yeah I am very confused lol. I've gotten $8.10 in bonuses from them. One at 12am, one today just two minutes ago, and the original one the other day.
